The Leafs have Assigned Robbie Earl, Justin Pogge, Richard Petiot, Kyle Rogers and Jaime Sifers to the marlies this past sunday. This was an expected move as the Leafs trim down there roster for the upcoming season. The Leafs also put Boyd Devereaux and Staffan Kronwall on waivers. Both are expected to report to the Marlies if they clear.
John Mitchell looks to have a lock in a spot on the Leafs this year. Good luck goes out to him, and will be missed by the Marlies fans. He was a big part of last years Team that won a North Division title and a first place finish in the division with a 109 point over all.
