Leafs Trim Roster By 4

Brian Burke, president and general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Sunday that the hockey club has reduced their training camp roster by four players. The Leafs have returned forward Nazem Kadri to the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, assigned forward Christian Hanson and defenceman Jonas Frogren to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, and released defenceman Andy Rogers.

Kadri played in six preseason games for the Leafs collecting three goals and two assists for five points, while earning a plus-six rating. In the preseason Hanson registered one goal and two assists in six games, Frogren recorded six penalty minutes in three games, and Rogers accumulated 25 minutes in penalties in four games.
