The Toronto Marlies, a proud member of the American Hockey League, are introducing the opportunity for two lucky fans to have the chance to accompany the hockey team on their trip to Edinburgh, Scotland for their exhibition tournament from September 22-28.
The promotion includes a flight for two and six night’s accommodations, along with a pair of tickets to each Marlies game in Scotland’s ‘Ice Hockey Homecoming’ tournament in Edinburgh.
Marlies fans can enter the contest by logging onto the team’s official website, torontomarlies.com and registering their name. The lucky contestant will be chosen through a random draw. The contest closes on Monday, August 31 at midnight.
The four team tournament begins on Thursday, September 24 with a game between the Marlies and Hamilton Bulldogs at Murrayfield Ice Rink in Edinburgh at 2:00 p.m. (ET).
The Marlies home opener has been set and will take place on Sunday, October 4 at Ricoh Coliseum at 4 p.m. For 2009-10 Marlies ticket information, including season ticket packages and group seats, call the team’s ticket line at 416-597-PUCK.
